New Zealand's world famous Kaitaia Fire is named after a town in Far North New Zealand.

The founder’s love affair with all things "hot" began with a childhood spent in Fiji, and for the past 20 years he has made it his mission to explore the magic of the chili pepper.

Established in 1989 on a 5 acre organic farm in the Far North, our aim is to provide top quality New Zealand made hot sauces, using the finest organic chilies grown in New Zealand.

We hope that by taking up the challenge and experiencing the power of our hot sauces, discerning customers throughout the world, will be able to experience a little of what makes New Zealand great, and perhaps learn and appreciate a small sample of our culture.
